I ran across these lovely photos of Juanita Bynum over at theybf.com. Never mind the story behind the photos, I was immediately drawn into her lips. Hmmm...pink? I would have never thought it....but....but, it doesn't look too bad. Now, I'm not saying run out and buy Miss Piggy Pink, but I just wanted to share with my sisters, especially my browner tone sisters-We too, can do pink. LOL

Have a good day!

Oh yes honey, I rock the New York Snob lip glaze in all of it's pink glory. lol. We can do lots of things that we tend to be scared of as long as its done correct. Go for the pink, but u don't have to walk around lookin like Malibu Barbie.

Girl, I wear pinks all day, everyday. I'm not sure why so many 'Brown' women are so afraid of color and only stick to neutrals? We have beautiful tones in our skin and can rock almost anything. I am definitely not afraid...lol

I LOVE pink on black women, but not that frosty, barbie doll pink kind of shade. My absolute favorite is MAC Girl About Town lipstick, a bold fuschia. This is not the color for a woman who wants to blend into the background! We (black women) can rock any color we choose, it's all about choosing the right tone and formula.

Actually your right it doesn't look to bed, once its the right shade.

Black skin tones could do pink as long it is the right shade for their skin tones. I wear pink lip color (and gloss) that highlight my natural lip shade.

I won't go for something like fushia because that's pushing it and I'm not into the drama but more of the natural look.

Ha.. see and I was gonna say fuscia looks great on a lot of skin tones. I wear fuscia (I guess you would say I'm lightskinned) but it looks just as striking on dark choclatey/ebony women as well. You just have to rock a simpler eye.
