The Skinny On Eucalyptus Oil

Eucalyptus oil is an essential oil derived from the leaves of the eucalyptus plant. There are many cosmetic uses for this wonder oil and amongst them is the ability to treat dandruff.

To treat dandruff, add about 10 drops of eucalyptus oil to your shampoo or conditioner, and massage it well into your scalp. Allow it to stay there for about 3-5 minutes, and then rinse it off with warm water.

It is also recommended that the Eucalyptus oil is blended with another oil. Applying too much of it directly on your scalp can cause chemical like burns in some people and/or damage the hair. You can also blend with thyme, rosemary, lavender, and lemon.

Great post - I was wondering what I could add to my shampoo bar for dry scal and this may do the trick - thanks for posting ;o)

Will definitely keep this in mind for next winter esp. if my scalp is as bad as it was year. Thanks for the post!

Do you put ten drops into the whole bottle of shampoo, or just the palmful of shampoo that you will be washing your hair with?

10 drops into the shampoo, PLEASE!!! :)
