Ojon Restorative Hair Treatment

$55 Sephora

According to Sephora:

Restorative Hair Treatment
This uniquely concentrated, versatile hair rejuvenator contains 100 percent Ojon palm nut oil to improve the condition of damaged, color-treated, or processed hair without weighing it down. Fortifying, rebuilding, and nourishing, it leaves hair extraordinarily shiny, silky, and manageable.

How to use:
As a Deep Conditioning Treatment: Warm a teaspoonful in the palm of your hands (more for longer hair) and distribute onto dry hair, from scalp to ends. Leave on for 10-20 minutes, and shampoo well.

As a Leave-In Conditioner: Warm a small amount in the palms of your hands until it becomes a lightweight oil, and distribute thoroughly through towel-dried hair. Style as usual.

As a Shine Enhancer: Heat a very small amount in the palms of your hands and smooth over the surface of dry-styled hair.

hmmm! sounds good. Have any of you ladies tried this? If so, please share!

i have this. it has a very strong smokey, nutty scent which i don't mind, but might bother some people. it works well (my hair is shiney and soft after the treatment) but i probably won't buy it again. it was a nice treat to myself, but i feel i can get results almost as nice if i use other oils that are not as expensive.

It does work well; it made my hair really soft, but I can't really justify the $55 price tag. Use some olive oil; it works just as well.

I've never tried it. I want to though, for $55 it must work miracles!

I actually like it as a leave-in on dry hair, or as an overnight pre poo.

It's really expensive and I share it with my mom.

A little goes a long way.

I liked another one of their products but I haven't tried this one just yet.. it's pretty pricey lol. For those naturals who are in the Los Angeles area, you can pick this and other Ojon products up at Pure Beauty on Wilshire. I've seen it there a while back but never got a chance to buy any more of it lol.

I have tried this several times, and looooove it. It does have a strong scent, kind of like smoke and coffee, but it doesn't last after you wash it out.

Small secret, go to sephora and get a sample, a little goes a LOOOOOONG way, every customer can get 2 of the little containers, or 1 larger one as a sample, so don't pay the money. I never did, and have used it off and on for 2yrs now, I get samples every couple of months.

I looooove this stuff. I get a litle sample every time I go to the store. It works!!!! a little does go a long way. But I have a lot of thick hair so I have to use the whole sample of it they give me every time. It works like a charm tho. Right now I'm wearing flat twist outs because I'm transitioning and on the days that i have to wash my hair, it's a difficult task to get the tangles out. This stuff really softens my hair and gets it ready for shampooing. It's a must have. If you can't afford it, get samples!!

THIS STUFF IS AWESOME! i dont know if the $55 price tag justifies it, but this is great stuff. i say if you try it, and you cant live without it...then buy it!(a jar goes a long way because its oil.)

I have tried it as a overnight deep conditioning treatment and my hair was uber soft! I was glad to wash it out in the morning because it has a strong coffee/nutty scent...not offensive, just strong. I got a sample from sephora because its expesive!

I purchased this maybe 3 years ago and still have quite a bit left. As a deep conditioner, it was just 'ok'...I use it more through the winter time on dry hair.

I love SunyBlack, thanks for sharing that secret! lol

great tip about getting the sample from sephora!

This product is a waste of money. I sold it on ebay for 20 bucks! I GET THE SAME RESULTS BY USEING REGULAR OLIVE OIL.
