Steep vs. Cheap: Foam Stylers

Ojon Conditioning Volumizing Foam $22 Sephora

Proclaim Foaming Wrap Lotion $5 Sally's Beauty

Why use foaming lotions? Foam lotions are a great way to add volume and shine. They provide a lightweight hold that can define curls without build-up and without the crunch. They can eliminate frizz and combat humidity. Most of them are alcohol free and fast drying.

Do you know of any other good foam stylers?

Foam???? I thought that was for 'straight' styles like a relaxed wrap or roller sets???? I see another posting coming from UC. How did you make this work on your curly tresses?

You gotta be kidding me? I need phtographic proof of this. please?

Motions has a good foam styler...the price is very reasonable.

Yes these foams work on natural hair!!! I have use them several times to roller set my hair. I like Organic Root Stimulator, Wrap set mousse foam and Giovanni's foam.

Visions Foam Wrap works wonders.. I tried it for the first time Saturday and my curls are still defined... Kinda steep.. $15 but the bottle is big!

I would agree and say motions as well...when roller setting my hair I use the foam which leaves my hair shiny and provides a lasting style without the hard/crunchy feeling.

Motions is cool, but everybody be on it like it's the bomb... what it THE BOMB are Ojon's Products, fa sho! Unfortunately, they're expensive as hell. I think that Silk Elements deserves honorable mention.

QP Elasta has a great foam styling thingy :)

Yeah so I'm clearly lost, you can use foam for wash n go's, or just for setting styles?

If so that would be great, because gel and mousse dries my hair out. I will def be trying out Giovanni's since I like most of their products and its not too expensive.

@Rasheedah and others. Yes, I meant you can use foam for wash n'go's. The result is defined curls that shine, has volume and flow. It doesn't give you that heavy, weighed down or crunchy look and feel.
