Fast FAQ: Split Ends

There are many hair products out there which claim that they can repair your split ends. However, the only way to effectively get rid of them is to cut the split end. This doesn't mean that you have to trim your hair every 6-8 weeks, you can eliminate the split end by cutting it as you spot them. Above is a handy chart that you will help you spot and get rid of those unwanted ends. Happy snipping, ladies!

I never trim them. I just leave them alone. Single strand knots keep split ends from traveling up anyway. Yeah, I know this sounds crazy

I tend to get the deep and regular splits, but those came from excess styling and roughness.

I try to trim them as I see them and maintain my hair with regular protein treatments.

Oiling my ends helps tremendously too.
